HP Latex 700 Splatter

Has anyone experienced this?
Our printer drops down black splatter in the additional 6" every time we use 60" rolls. We don't use 60" often.
The splatter happens before the curing module, and easily wipes off once through the curing module, but is under the ink so takes it off as well.

We have tried cleaning the rollers, it doesn't seem to be them.

Is it small pieces of rubber from the carriage belt?

I guess there might be dirt accumulated on the entrance diverter guide or the diverter roller. The roller can be accessed easily, but the guide is not trivial.
