HP latex 800 printhead

Current optimizer head has a little under 500ml through it and the pin 4 black and cyan has around 5800ml. Has anyone had anything similar to this happen? No noticeable head strikes on media today previous to this happening. Print quality just immediately fell off mid roll.

Bit of a backstory here. I had an issue last month where the maintenance tray wiper ran out way before it should have and print quality got really bad. Replaced several heads before I finally figured out it was the wiper. I currently have 86% left on my maintenance tray. Im just unsure of what to do next. Thanks for any and all help in advance!

We're currently troubleshooting some horizontal banding issues and SCOURED the internet to find the true, printable HP Control Print for the 700 / 800 Series and FINALLY found it; this print is 'exclusive' to HP Service Technicians and it's what they would print to troubleshoot any issues.

The file is too large to attach, so please message me with your email address and we can transfer it to you.

It's a good starting point to hopefully identify and resolve your issue! We printed at 52" wide on the print setting with which we noticed the issue, as well as the highest resolution and passes (to eliminate the possibility of the issue resulting from lower passes/resolution). Good luck :)

Greatly appreciate you! I just sent you a message. When I get this resolved I’ll be sure to update what the solution is.

I wonder what is the ink level left, I had an issue years ago with magenta or light magenta dropping out and the problem was that the cartridge had 5% left (supposedly) so the printer was thinking it had ink while physically didn't have any at all and the same thing happens with the maintenance cartridge, sometimes it runs out of the cleaning fabric and does not shows and it keeps on cleaning but it is not cleaning at all

UPDATE!
Talked to HP today and the lady I talked to narrowed it down to a media guide. She told me I should only be using media guides on banner and reflective. She thinks the media guide was likely rubbing the head causing damage to that segment of the head that is missing. I ran some SAV afterwards at a higher pass to make up for the missing nozzles without the media guides. The material I ran had a tendency to jam after a media calibration and that did not happen nor was there any head rub. I am waiting on 2 new heads and I will continue to update as I find out more.

I disagree on only using media guides only on banner and reflective on this machine, I used the guides at all the times on the 800 on all medias just make sure it doesn't rub on the heads
