HP R530 backup power?

We've just ordered the HP R530. Has anyone added a UPS or other power backup / voltage protection between the wall outlets and the printer? A quick AI search shows that I need a 6kVA unit to run both cords or two 3kVA if I want to separate the cords. This will give me 5-10 minutes to let the printer finish printing before it runs out of backup power. Is the price tag worth it starting at $2500? The other option is a power conditioner that start around $500. Is there any danger in lettering the printer shutdown with a power outage as long as you know that it was properly surge protected?

I wouldn't bother. 99% of other units out there's without anything.
I agree. we've been running the HP Latex and Epson printers for years without an interrupt protect. I just want to cover my bases with the new unit coming in.
