I need to RELEARN color calibration and management

It's been almost 20 years since I trained in calibration and color management. Things haven't changed that much, but I'm chasing my tail trying to match colors and GUESS alot. Is there a book, or a guide -- a training DVD that uses Roland and HP industrial printers? I'd REALLY like to take a in-person class...

I've forgotten alot and this old dog needs to relearn those tricks :)

Depending on which RIP your using, there may be decent training materials available on line.

I'm looking into Caldera, to replace our very old Fiery xPress - sales rep quoted £1000+VAT for a days training, way more than the software license for our little aqueous machine.

Old dog, I'm assuming you have a photospectrometer?

HAD a spectro -- 90s vintage from Scitek. I want to get an xRite X1 -- or 1X...whatever they're calling it now :)
