We just launched a new software that lets your customer design illuminated signs in 3D and the price shows instantly, directly on your website.
At this moment we have 8 types of illuminated signs in the 3D simulator. Since we’re based in Europe but the software will be used globally, we want to make sure the names of these sign types are clear and familiar to everyone.
We have like this:
1. Luminous volumetric letters (which i would prefer to name it Channel Letters)
2. Luminous volumetric letters with halo effect (its channel letters that the light is projected toward the back wall)
3. Slim luminous volumetric letters with Halo effect (used usually for interior, (e.g. behind the counter)) made of komatex 19mm, or MDF or Acrylic boards)
4. Single-sided light box
5. Double-sided light box (others will say projected sign or flag sign)
6. Textile light box (the one that you use a rubber silicon band to insert in the gap, on the whole perimeter)
7. LED Neon
8. Bonded plexiglas light box (an ACP/ACM/Bond light box with cut-out letters filled with acrylic (3, 5, 10, 20, or 30mm thick)))
I am not happy with the naming, please recommend me the right name for each style of illuminated sign.
