Ughhhhhhhhh, the smart guides do a lousey job of snapping to lines now. I like the larger interface, but perhaps I have my preferences set incorrectly, nothing wants to snap accurately.

Might want to check your snapping tolerance in the settings.

turn the tolerance down and the snap up.

I keep playing with these settings and I'm still having the same issues. Back to regular CC for the time being.
