Mutoh VJ1204 had an error of e087, changed printhead and cables, had mainboard tested (it's fine) now what?? Is there anything on the CR-Board that would cause this?

The only thing left is the main board unfortunately. There is a small chance it could be the CR board so I would take a very close look at it physically. If you see any pins in the terminals that are bent or even slightly out of place that could cause this issue. You can try air dusting it as well. Check that the cables are all plugged in straight and don't have any damaged/bent leads. Other than that, it has to be the main board. If you want you could try a CR board first but in my opinion, unless you see damage on that board, it's probably not it.
