I'm going nuts,,,eyecandy ergh

Why is it when I use eyecandy, rasterize,un-mask etc.
When I go to print I only get parts of the letters with the effect. I always just end up exporting as a jpeg, then importing back in. Then have to make transparent.
What am I doing wrong?
Running Flexi-8,, with production manager

use photoshop...

maybe you need a big box around the image to prevent clipping...then crop.
