Import "compressed" ai into corel?

Recieved a file today on disc that is about 74megs. Used the import command in corel and get the window: The ai file is compressed, resave without compression.

I did not create this file so I was wondering if I anyone has any suggestions as to how to get this into coreldraw. When I try to import into composer/gerber it is locking up the computer and I have to restart.

Any help would be appreciated.
