importing cs4 & acrobat 9 into flexi 8.0v3

We just upgraded our adobe...was getting tired of telling customers to down save. And I just tried importing a pdf 9...and flexi sd file not supported. I opened it in illy and saved as an eps and was able to import in. Hate to do the extra step. I am wondering if there might be an update I can download from SAI so I can import this stuff? Or am I dreaming?
