A problem that frustrates us all is importing a PDF into Flexi to find issues with the rendering of the file... white blocks, missing data, incorrect layer display...
If you have a PDF created in Adobe, you can Import the file as a link. This will bring the file into Flexi for you to use more as an image place holder.
The display of the Linked PDF may be less than desired quality (choose higher res if you wish), but this is only the display function... when outputted, the raw PDF is pulled and printed as designed.
Once imported, you can add vector data, contours, etc and proceed to output.
The original PDF is never altered or modified. When you save the file, the PDF link is saved.
To try this, be sure to check the LINK box on the right side of the FILE>IMPORT window.
