Ink replacement question

Hey guys, I have a roland versacamm sp300v,I'm using solaris ecosol max ink but would like to switch to roland oem inks. Now do i have to do a flush cleaning or can i just replace the ink cartridges?

I've got the same printer, bought it used from a guy who used some ink brand I'd never heard of and I switched to Roland OEM and I just did a heavy head cleaning and haven't had any issues.
