Hi Everybody---
I have a project that requires BIG lettering on vast expanses of interior walls.
The walls have been painted with latex (over vinyl wallpaper) and we are using digitally printed wallpaper wherever we can.
My question is what is the best way to lay down large (4' tall+) lettering on the long hallway walls?
Is it still plotter-cut vinyl mask... or has anyone found a better material?
The lettering will probably need to be rolled latex or oil-based to match architect spec'd colors. I have heard of some tacky latex impregnated papers, and something like that might work if I could print it on my inkjet and then xacto cut the letters out right on the wall.
I have even considered pouncing and hand-lettering with a brush since some of these 30 foot legends get repeated!
Anyone have any new ideas or experiences...?
