Is this a font?

A customer wants us to recreate this. I immediately thought, "I know that font from somewhere..." and she said she created it herself about 25 years ago. Well, I'm pretty darn sure that there is a font that is at least similar to it. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Looks like a font to me, although I have not a name for it. Goin to try some quick photoshop+whatthefont magic on it!
