Is this an overlay?

had a customer email a pic of the type of window lettering they want. It appears that there is an overlay of clear on white offset about 1/16". Looks kinda good, gives some dimension. Does anybody do this? Is it white vinyl sandwiched inbetween 2 layers of clear? The customer said it was i sticker, meaning i guess that he can't peel the clear from the white or vice versa. Going to the store tomorrow to check it out but was hoping for some insight before hand.

I'd say the clear is laminate extending 1/8" outside of the vinyl's dimensions. We do it a lot with specialty materials like engine turn, fake gold leaf, etc where it is required by the mfg. on projects like fire trucks. We also do it on certain graphics with skinny points to keep the points from peeling up.

Or, possibly it is an Edge (foil) print on clear.
