Is XC-540 white conversion possible

Hello,

I have a XC-540 that is set up currently for 6 color printing and I was wondering if it is possible to convert it for 4 color with white. If so, has anyone done this and what is involved? Thanks to all!

Yes you can.

As far as I know you just need to use a cleaning cartridge to flush the LC/LM lines and then insert the white ink cartridges. (Be sure to change the ink setup in the printer menu as well)

If you contact your dealer they should be able to walk you through it.

It's possible but it's not recommend it since the white ink pigments are bigger than usual also the little use of white ink meanning that print heads won't last ...
