Need Help Issue with printing

Trying to print off a windshield banner but have a terrible time with what appears like banding or washed out areas in the print. I can print off a full picture with no problems and only have an issue when trying to do a solid color. Any ideas would be much appreciated. This is on a sp540i using eco sol ink. I have even tried several profiles and it doesn't seem to help. The grey starts out as solid and then after about an inch i have issues. Also have included a pic of a sample color chart from oracal just for reference

The pics are taken with my phone but the test print from versaworks comes out perfect

Test print from the printer. All done with in a few minutes of each other. I made no adjustments but end up with different results. The lines seem to over lap in one pic and perfect in the other

Thanks for the help. I adjusted heat settings and this did help alot. Ends up versaworks doesn't print the correct colors sometimes so this was another issue that I was running into.
