issues with cut controls

I have xc-540......
I use a 2 pt bleed on my cut contours (which is suggested in manual) but im getting gaps on my contours. Do i need to have the machine calibrated? If so can i perform the calibration or do i need to get my retailer involved?

Gaps in your contour cuts? Check your contour blade... check the cut strip to see if it needs replacing...these are consumable items
