Hi all,
Lately I am having some issues with my starlam 1600. The varnish looks very stripy on the canvas. Of course it should be crystal clear. I have run multiple test to resolve it, so far no luck. Luckily it's only noticeable on dark images, it doesn't affect the lighter ones.
What I tried:
- Add 5% water to the varnish.
- Add 10% water to the varnish.
- Increase heat.
- Decrease speed.
- Deep clean Meyerbar.
Does anyone use varnish coating? If so, anyone got an idea why the coating spreads so unevenly, if that is what is going on here.
Please see attachment.
Thanks!
