Issues with Nazdar inks

I have seen a few posts about issues with their inks but wondering if anyone has had problems with it wrecking their printhead?

My printhead became faulty with a poor test print just for the yellow, it had been in less than a year and I don't run my machine all the time, I had an engineer out, he did everything to try and work out what the issue was but in the end said it has to be the head, put a new head in, off he went, did a small print job but got the same issue again right away, spoke to the engineer and he said it has to be the ink as everything else is fine, spoke to ink supplier who did kindly send an engineer out to have a look too, he did all the same things as the engineer I used originally and despite the head having done less than about 20 mins printing he said it needed a new head, he put one in, then pretty much right away only having done a test print and set up prints it failed again while he was still here, so he had to put in yet another new head, and instead of putting the Nazdar yellow ink cart back in he put in one of their own brand ones and I haven't had that same issue since. That engineer said Nazdar will cover the cost of the new head they put in and should cover the cost of the one I had put in before that and asked for the invoices etc to send to them, but I haven't heard back on that, messaged Nazdar too who are useless at replying to any messages but they have their warranty on their website and should pay for my repairs, it's their yellow that has done all this damage and cost me £1000's. The original engineer said that a lot of ink manufacturers have been having issues with inks at that time and have been causing head failures so it must be a known issue, anyone else had similar problems?

We have had an issue with Nazdar yellow too. Thankfully it didn’t kill print heads, just pumps. We switched back to OEM and the issue went away.

Thanks for that, the distributor was really good to start with after I'd had a new head put in and the ink killed it, they sent someone out on the Monday as they just so happened to be in my local city that day anyway, he, as with the independent engineer, said it has to be the ink, they took my new killed head and my old killed head and I should have got the new one paid for by Nazdar but I'm not sure if the distributor put my claim in as originally I thought it was old ink but it was ink near the end but they hadn't put my claim in anyway and as I had dared to contact Nazdar directly, who are useless at replying to emails about their ink before I switched to it, and now as a user with issues, I haven't received a reply from them either and the distributor is just airing me, so at the minute, thanks to Nazdar, I'm over £2000 out of pocket.

Also, thanks for confirming you've had issues too because even though the independent engineer and even the distributors own engineer both said it has to be the ink causing issue, the distributor is now saying 'I appreciate that your own local engineer has previously pointed the finger at the Nazdar ink, but we sell a significant volume of both the Nazdar branded in and the QPS branded ink every week without any issues and have done for many years.'

I had Digital Ink UK say the same about all the issues we had with their ink, it isn't them, must be us, but as soon as I switched from their ink all the problems we'd had suddenly went.

The independent engineer isn't local either, he's a 5 hour drive away in Dorset, so they can take that out of the equation.

So, in short, the Nazdar warranty isn't worth the weight of the text on your screen reading it, they don't reply to emails and are very unresponsive, back to genuine inks for us I think, although I've never had any issues with Digiprint Supplies, Colormagic inks, Digital UK ~Inks we had a nightmare of a time with hence paying more for Nazdar who's ink has destroyed my original head, the 1st replacement head and the 2nd replacement head, the 3rd replacement one is ok although ever since they put that in I get a yellow halo around red ink, when I printed orange image with white gaps the gaps are filled in yellow too, but the distributor who put the last 2 heads in has totally ignored that issue.
