Jeep Roof Wrap

Hi all. I have a client that wants to wrap the roof of his Jeep Renegade, but the roof has some type of "rubberized"? coating on it from the factory. My feeling is that the wrap won't adhere well to this, but I could be off base on this. Has anyone done this, and did it last?

I'm not aware of any rubberized roof coating on them.... If it's the removable "My Sky" roof panels, they are pretty textured and are made out of plastic so I don't know how well (or how long) it would stick. Ask him to test it by putting down a little strip and see if it stays.

take a small piece of material and apply to the roof, see what happens.

NOTE:
That is a horizontal surface, it will FAIL. Make sure all parties understand this!
