Just Ordered My Big Squeegee

Decided to take on a church project to print (7) 4' x 8' panels for a Christmas play coming up on Saturday. Printed on vinyl -- going to mount on foam board.

We don't usually mount to larger panels for the work we typically do. Tried to mount my first print -- what a disaster.

Went online and ordered the big squeegee -- I've seen how much everyone loves them. Ordered rush shipping -- Dear God please don't be back ordered!

I've watched the videos in the past -- but if anyone's got suggestions I'm all ears...

Practice on something small first, then graduate to larger prints before the main job.

flat, flat, flat! the table surface that you are using must be PERFECTLY FLAT...... want to ask how we found out....the hard way

Good to know about the flat tables -- ours are pretty flat and sturdy.

Man we are in the middle of the xmas rush -- I really hope this thing comes quick -- I hate having deadlines looming over my head --

Smart Choice

By the third one you should be confident enough to go for it. You'll get a quick feel for things on your first lay down. I agree also about the surface being leveled. I had to do 4 -3.5' x 10' vinyl on alum .040. My table was only 8' so I layed alum on floor and proceeded to mount vinyl on floor. Now I use the floor alot. : )

P.S. Try your best not to go slow. Faster you mount the better.

Which one and where did you get it from?

Big Squeegee is awesome, but i personally not big fan of laminating with it. Gives to much silvering ( i know most of it goes away but still) Well worth its price, plus you can get 30% discount from Dale's signature (dunno if he still gives that discount)
