JV100-160 Magenta ink dripping from the printhead

Hello, how are you?
I'm from Mexico. Maybe my translation isn't very good, but I hope I can make myself understood.

A month ago, the magenta head 1 started to leak while I was printing. I've already cleaned it and nothing. The problem continues and it's staining the vinyl. People tell me that the magenta damper may be damaged. Has anyone had a similar experience? And how can I fix it?
Best regards.

Sounds like a bad damper, I think part number M022253.

ok thanks! I already ordered it from Aliexpress and I'm waiting for it to arrive since I can't print without it throwing ink

You might also want to check your sponges. I found that one of mine was completely saturated with ink and would build up on the head area and drop on the print area.

Dripping head tends to be dampers. Nothing wrong with using generic ones in my experience, but some folks just want to pay extra for piece of mind. I just like being able to get 5 generic dampers for the price of 1 Mimaki so I can keep spares on hand.

The great thing about aftermarket ones is if you do get a bad one, they're cheap and you just throw in another one.
