JV3-160SP and 64 bit computer question

Hi, just wonderering if anyone had gone through the process of upgrading to a 64 bit computer with Windows 7 and what kind of issues I might run into. It is connected via firewire to a computer running XP. The RIP is Onyx version 7. I would appreciate any help/advice someone out there may have!
