As the topic title says, I've just had new frimware installed on my CJV which will extend the expiry date on cartridges for up to 6 months.
This is obviously in response to people complaining about getting ink with short expiration dates and sending them back.
Apparently now when it shows up on the panel as about to expire, you get an option to extend the time. Seems like a good idea. Haven't seen it in action yet but some of my carts are pretty close to their dates so we'll see.
Talk to your tech. My guy was in and out in 10 minutes.
Didn't get a copy of the firmware sorry.
