Hi there,
Just around the corner of replacing our old well served Jv3 with 21 km of continuous print on it so far and still going strong,
we are decided that it is time for a new roll to roll printer, we were thinking of perhaps going latex instead of eco-solvent...
I was just wondering what are the pros and cons of latex over solvent and vise versa.
All I know that we will not require any drying time prior lamination which is a big bonus as for solvent we usually wait 24 hours before we actually laminate so having the extra day of immediate production would be great...
I am a bit concerned though about the outdoor durability..., how will the latex stand against solvent in means of life expectancy.., what we would primarily be using the printer is vehicle wraps, banner prints and illuminated acrylic / lexan sheeting and any rigid vinyl application indoor and outdoor, I guess we would like to use it the same way as we would use
the old JV3.
any help and info would be appreciated.
cheers !
