Kiss Cutting

He guys I’ve seen a lot of sticker shops on social media doing kiss cutting stickers using there regular vinyl cutters. Question. Is this good to do or this abusing the machine, Blade and cutting Matt? Is this recommended?

I've never had any problems. probably puts less wear on my blades then full cuts. I don't change the cut strip or anything, it just works.

Kiss-cutting is what regular vinyl cutters are designed for. Are you referring to perf-cut or thru-cut? Also depends what kind of cutter you're talking about.

Yes when you cut out decals with backer also.

Yes as said, KISS cutting is cutting through the vinyl but not the backer. Graphtec has a separate position that the blade holder is moved to when cutting through the backing so the blade is not cutting the cut strip. If you cut on the cut strip eventually you will have areas where the cut strip will be chewed up and this will start to affect your KISS cuts.
