I couldn't find a place for this in the gifts and freebies thread..."Don't conform your mission or fight with antagonistic clients."
That's a big idea that I have in my head, but I can't live it for 15 weeks in a row.
Hopefully someone else will.
My biggest failure in business is trying to over-help.
My parents' kids still under-promise and over deliver.
Some people just can't be "helped". Some people can stretch a 5 hour job out for 5 months. Those people will kill you and your ambitions of greatness.
The speed of catching them or cutting them will determine your overall success.
Get great customers and build the machine or...
Get crap customers and struggle forever.
We are what we are, but the next generation can grow into something better.
This is not the Alexandria Libraries, but if I could offer something to the next generation, it would be:
"Do well as often as you can."
