Kona 1400 Circle Contour Cut Issue

Wondering if anyone can tell me why this issue is happening with my Kona 1400 cutter. I have two of them, and one has never had this problem but this issue has suddenly come up with the other. It seems that when contour cutting circle shapes the cut is not finishing in the same spot as it started, or it is cutting poorly in just one part of the shape. I've attached some images of some test cuts using a grid of 1" diameter circles. As you can see some have no issue and the cut looks correct, but then one will have this issue and not peel properly.

I've tried many different things... new blades, EPOS align, YZ profile, changing blade offset, using less force, using more force and I'm still running into the same issue.

Is the cutting strip in good shape?
Even though its happening on different circles is there any consistency to a location on the cutter itself like the middle, right or left of the media? I had an old plotter that had a small nick in the cutting strip and it really does make a difference in the cut quality.

Have you tried the blade holder? I have seen this cause similar issues. Try switching the blade holders between the two cutters and see what happens.

The strip is very new, changed it first thing when I started having problems. Compared to the strip on the working cutter it's had barely any use. Thanks for the suggestion though, I wish it was just the cutting strip!

Just gave this a shot - was hoping this was it as I hadn't tried it yet! Unfortunately the same issue still happens with the blade holder from the working cutter.

I'm really not sure what it could be at this point - maybe a motor issue? It's so strange.

Just thought I'd follow up. Seems that I've narrowed down the issue to the blade offset setting. I'm using the 45 degree (red cap) Mutoh blades and had the machine set to the recommended 0.50 offset, but I've found that turning it down to around 0.30 / 0.35 (still need to dial it in) is producing much better results.

So if anyone else is having a similar issue, try that!
