L26500 Loading Clear Material

We print on a Gloss/Gloss Polycarbonate all the time and usually when I load it in it says that it can't find the edge of the material. I then tell it that its 48.5" wide and that its about 2 1/2 inches from the edge of the print head. According to the scale on the front. The past week or so its been giving me issues where it says that I need to move it over 1880 mils (the number varies but is always large like that). Obviously something has changed but I don't know what. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Can you place a piece of tape over the sensor?

That's a good idea but maybe not on the sensor but on the platen? Going to try that now.

The Tape didn't work. Had to call HP they had me clean the line sensor and still nothing. They are going to replace the line sensor now.
