L26500 Missing Cartridges

Haven't had an issue with the printer 'till today. It's showing Light Magenta and Light Cyan cartridges as missing, I've reseated them, replaced with a new one, rebooted, power cycle, erase the EEPROM still no luck.
Anyone run across this?

We've used HP cartridges from day one.

Make sure the reader is clean at the very back of the cartridge slot.

Found the issue

the lower ink station is on a slider and there are two grey clips that keep it forward, the right clip was snapped off. I have it working temporarily but I don't think this is a part that has a replacement

Happened to me too, they sell replacements but I'm currently trusting my zip ties over the factory parts.

I have this same issue. What exactly am I looking at in your pictures? How do I acces that area of the printer ? From the back?

Remove the cover over the ink cartridges. That will expose this area, it is on the back side.
