Laminating Vinyl EFX smooth silver printable vinyl.

I have a job coming up that requires this material to be printed on for a Hot Rod. The supplier recommends that I don't need to laminate this (why?), I do not know why and they just say it doesn't, but it's entirely up to me. I've never printed on this type of media before and I would definitely laminate everything that's exposed to the elements.
Would appreciate anyone's opinions or experience regarding this.

laminate it, you might want to start looking for a more educated supplier.
We edge print on it here a lot and always laminate it.

Same here... we UV or solvent print onto that exact material, laminate with 3M 8518 and all is good.

We solvent print, then laminate with 3M 8518 or Oracal 290gf here. You must let it outgas 24 - 48 hours. We have had outgassing when laminating too quickly.
