Laminator Sled Material

I have a DryTac 54" JetMount laminator ... i have barely used it till recently, and i plan on pushing about 200' through it in the next 2 weeks.

My question is ...

What material are you using as a sled ? I have just been using whatever PVC i have around the shop to get the job done, but i hate peeling the laminate off afterwards ... I'm looking to make actual dedicated board and use the laminate backing to cover them so the laminate wont stick to them ...

i want something ridgid, and light ... was just curious as to what others use.

What thickness ? I guess on top of making sleds, i need to build an entry and exit table.
