Hey everyone,
I’m located in the Philadelphia market and I’ve got an HP Latex 115 that's stuck on Error 26.02.10 (Broken Ink Bag) and is fully locked out. Here's what I’ve done so far:
If I restart the printer and press/hold the HP logo in the center of the screen, I can get a blinking house icon to appear.
If I hold that icon, the service menu flashes briefly, but it's completely unresponsive — I assume due to the lockout.
This model only has a single button and a touchscreen, so the typical button combos like Up + Cancel don’t apply.
I already have the official HP Latex 300 Series Service Manual (628 pages, PDF) — so I’m not looking for that. I've gone through it thoroughly and there’s no documented method that gets me past this lockout.
I’m reaching out to ask if anyone:
Thanks in advance from Philly,
Ben

- Replaced the PIP float sensor
- Installed a new OEM ink cartridge
- Successfully updated the firmware via USB (shows complete, hits 99%, then freezes)
- Attempted both USB recovery methods (standard firmware and folder named recovery)
- Still cannot get past the error screen

I’m reaching out to ask if anyone:
- Has a copy of the HP dealer tools
- Knows how to force diagnostic mode via IP or USB
- Has experience with a network override or remote service tool
- Can share even a few key dealer-level service manual pages or steps that go beyond the public version
Thanks in advance from Philly,
Ben
