I'm looking at my first hp latex printer, a 26500. I have no clue what types of media to get for vinyl banners, car wraps, decals, backlit signs, etc. Also, is there a source for ink that people use regularly? Thanks in advance.

I'll be the first of probably several to advise against buying that 26500 if you have not yet pulled the trigger. A good printer in its day, but will be buying first gen technology and worse yet used first gen which for under 10K you can buy HP's latest tech which is world's better. I have both a 25500 (26500 predecessor but basically same tech) and 560 and while the 25500 serves as good backup (doesn't need to be run frequently) it is no comparison to the 560. Optimizer which eliminates the preheat broadens your media selection and offers scratch resistance and dependability, not to mention improvements , for better print feed and color consistency, plus a warranty for a new sub 10K printer. If you HAVE pulled the trigger, both Fellers and Grimco clearly mark their products if Latex compatible and I've never been steered wrong by either. Good luck!
