Hi there, I'm not a big time sign maker, I'm an armature at vinyl but I've come by a small hobby plotter and have started to experiment vinyl decals for my roller derby team and I ran into a problem.
I cut the same image out of all three colours, and weeded the unnecessary vinyl.
Used my transfer tape to pull up the first layer, used the backing to help keep the rest off the next layer while lining up the registration marks.
(This could have been easier with transparent transfer tape)
Placed the two together, squeegeed but when I went to pull off the transfer tape off to put on the third layer, the whole design peeled up into the transfer tape.
What did I do wrong? I feel like I'm just missing something
