Question led neon?

ok i am finally convinced to do led neon. i have a cnc router so i plan to cut thick clear acrylic with a routed grooves to inlay the led. Can someone who has done this give me some tricks. some questions i have are who has the best brightest, long lasting product. what about different acrylics? does the superglue fail over time? ul requirements (?) transformeer requirements, backlit work?

We do tons of them, just carve with little tolerance 5.5mm if you using 5mm strips so you can forget glue. About strips and power supplies, forget cheap ones (amazon, eBay, aliexpress ones). Some catches fires. Since we use proffesional ones (a good provider), not a single failure in 6 years (and our demo room has them 24/7 turned on).
