LED that is like NEON

I have seen it somewhere they have LEDs that now look like NEON. I need to figure out this material so I can quote a job. Any help is appreciated Thanks!

This wonderful product is flexible neon that doesn’t break, uses less electricity and last many times longer than traditional neon!

I'd love to see the data to back up those claims

... Sloan LED also has their FlexiBRITE product line.

Another thing about what little I did read that I did find comical is the 100,000 hour duration, I'd offer this 5,000 and that may be too generous.

This needs to be under "Party Favors".

Just wait till it needs service and you can't get anything done for it. That is if you can muster up the money to buy it in the first place. I have seen some of this crap that turned black in the curves,and bends. You just can't beat the real McCoy, read NEON. Neon is the original energy efficient light source, even when we used only magnetic transformers, with the new solid state power supplies, it is even more efficient. All others are copy-cats. LEDS have their place, just not certain where.

inmy state, the only neon allowed is red and a few shades of neon that contain no mercury. we are having to make do without it.
