Question Less sensitive banner finger prints and others

Hi,

I use the Ultraflex [HASHTAG]#banner[/HASHTAG] brand with eco-solvent but it is very sensitive for [HASHTAG]#finger[/HASHTAG] marks and rub marks. Do you know a brand less [HASHTAG]#sensitive[/HASHTAG] material. When I change my roll, I always lose a foot unusable [HASHTAG]#material[/HASHTAG] by which it is [HASHTAG]#marked[/HASHTAG].

Thanks

We ordered a big box of these white cotton gloves from Uline and wear them whenever changing out printable media. Pretty cheap and they also work well for smoothing big prints out as we mount like a poor man's version of a wrap glove.

I used to wear gloves when changing out rolls, but now I just wipe down the first foot or so (the area I have to touch and a little beyond just to be safe) with 50% iso alcohol after the roll is loaded. Make sure to use something lint free, such as a Scott's brand Shop Towel and to wipe it's until completely dry.

It's better to have two hands than one glove.

Are you rebuilding an engine or something before you handle the material? I've been using Ultraflex for years and I don't get fingerprints or boogers or anything on it that has any effect on printing. I'm not especially careful, I don't don gloves or suit up. Why do you loose a foot of material, the stuff is reverse wound so your hot little hands shouldn't come anywhere near the coated surface?

Ultraflex is the worst, yesterday I lost 7 feet of material due to fold/creases in it.
