DIY Printer Fixing Guide
- Power on while holding the left, right, and down keys
- Once it boots up, scroll down to the "Init Counter" Menu and hit enter
- Scroll down to pump and hit enter
- It will ask you if you want to initialize and just input yes
- Don't do what people are tempted to do and initialize ALL or NVRAM unless you want to reset to factory defaults

Went through the above steps, when I entered Yes on the Maintenance menu for Lifetime pump and selected enter yes, no initialization occurred. The counter reset back to no. Attempted it again, nothing happened. Am I missing a step? Thanks.

The lifetime error is just s timer and doesn't mean anything is broken. That being said, if the station is old, it may need to be changed or just the cap top needs to be swapped out. If the machine sat for a long time, the nozzles could be clogged and you might need to do a head soak. Try to see if you can see ink flowing during cleanings in the waste tubes to verify ink flow. If it's not, either the cap top or full station is failing. If ink is flowing and it still doesn't print anything, you most likely popped the head fuse on the main board. Luckily it's user replaceable.

check the flapper on the maintenace station, no ink after doing nozzle check. Where is that fuse located? I replaced the maintentance station and print head about three years ago. Everything work well last week. The recieved the LifeTime Pump error message today.

It appears will have to the pull control panel off and see what is going on in the maintenance station.. Anything I should be looking for?

also, I inadvertently enter the ink initialization twice, any effect. Also when I was in maintenance menu counter reset, anything in their O should recheck, could have inadvertently enter something in error. Thanks

Ok, Broke down the machine, check fuses and main board circurity was good. Check panel box and maintence station, ran mutiply cleaning and nozzels checks. No issues

Inspected lines. Ink cartridges had fresh ink coming from port, wiper had black ink, and all lines had ink, but no printing.

Did another ink intizilation normal mode. Again nothing. Try it one more time howerver instead of normal if use the little mode. Ran it no problems. Did a nozzile check, ink started printing broke lines, did three more cleanings and nozzle checks. Did a test print of four boxes with CYMK, look good. Will try it over this weekend, see how it goes. I suspect the solenoids in the lines may needed to be recharged., Thanks.
