please help me figure out why these lines are showing up in my prints in versaworks... it does it on both my printers...so it's either a coreldraw problem or a versaworks problem... it's very inconsistent...sometimes they appear, and sometimes it's perfect...any ideas?

To eliminate Corel as the problem open the output file in adobe Photoshop (ideally) or corel photopaint and zoom on those areas. The stripes should be visible. If not then it's at the rip.
I don't use versaworks, but on my roland Wasatch rip this occasionally happens if the preferences get corrupted. It treats it as an unlicensed version and puts lines thru the prints. I just reinstall the rip and go back to it.
Try sectioning the striped area and printing a small part as a test. If it shows there then resize by a small percentage and re rip. It may go away. If so it's math error somewhere in the output file and a small size change may trick it to print fine.
It could also be guidelines in Corel are set to print, or hidden elements that are not visible are set to print. Wireframe view will help you find that.
