Looking at investing in a new HP printer, should i get 360 or will the 310 work?

afternoon all... i was wondering if any HP owners could recommend the correct latex printer for me....
i am pretty low volume so peed is definitely not required. the only other thing i see in the 360 that is not in the 310 or 330 is the spectromometer thingy for color calibration.
now i am surely not a color specialist, but is this feature really a must have?
thanks for any help in this tough decision...

The HP Latex 300 series machines are built for somewhat different user situations. The 310 is an entry-level machine with a max 54-inch wide media width, and print speed (throughput) on that machine is fairly comparable to the previous model machine, the Latex 260. It does come with very good media compatibility and support, via the HP Media Solutions Locator web site. In addition, as the 300 series printers installed base grows, it is likely that additional manufacturer-provided media profiles will become available.

The Latex 360 is a 64-inch wide machine which offers significantly faster throughput (around 2x, and in some cases more), better support for fabric (textile) media, a new touch-screen interface, and a host of internal improvements, including complete on-board Media profile creation.

Relatively few users are actively engaged in building their own custom media profiles (most use canned profiles and 'tweak'), but it is much easier and faster to do so with the Latex 360 than virtually any other machine. This is due to the embedded spectrophotometer, but beyond that, the internal changes to the printer (making it a contone device, whereas most large-format machines are halftone) are what really makes the procedure easier and faster on medias that support the use of the on-board spectro).
