Looking for a specific type of software

Hello,

My boss has me looking for a certain type of software. He doesn't know what it is called but I'll try to describe it and maybe someone can help me. Basically I'm running a Graphtec plotter that only supports 30" rolls of vinyl, however, we plot out things that are larger than that pretty frequently. So what I'm looking for is something that will split the drawing in AutoCAD into pieces that will fit on the 30" roll. He tells me that it cuts them like a puzzle piece so you know exactly how they fit back together. If anyone can help me out, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks.

What you're describing is called paneling. I would be surprised if the Graphtec software doesn't provide for the need. Have you checked into that?

I contacted the tech support at Graphtec and they directed me to FlexiSign. Is there any way to get something like that, even if it is just a paneling program, at little to no cost?

I've got an extra copy of VE LXI which is basically a stripped down version of FlexiSign. No printing support, but it works great for a cutting program, it allows you to tile your cuts easily. PM me if you're interested, and I'll make you a good deal on it.

If I were going to go with FlexiSign, which version would I need to pick up to do the paneling? I don't need anything too fancy yet, just the paneling feature.
