You might want to check out The Sign Pack (www.thesignpack.com).
We work only with sign companies and can help with creative layouts, production files, and permit drawings.
You can use us on a subscription or just on-demand when you need extra help.

Any sign project that is not a slam dunk yard sign is really two projects, and I tell my clients that. Project #1 is to craft a design, sometimes an overall concept/image that is the common thread of the client's signage and advertising; business cards, stationary, signage etc. etc. etc. That is a job that needs to be done before you proceed with the main sign and needs to have a cost that is approved by the client and paid before moving forward with the actual sign production and installation. Yeah, right, you say. Tell your client that once the design is done and paid for they own it and can shop it to multiple sign companies to get their best price/comfort zone. If the client decides to go elsewhere, at least you've been paid for your design. I have found that clients will stay with you if you discuss materials, durability, zoning & installation.
