ok, design you sticker and or decal 1 up and save as an EPS/PDF and done. I never suggest or accept someone's file that has done the nesting/stepping for me.
You don't know the size of equipment, material or lamination that your printer has so don't make their job harder than it needs to be. Anyone that plays on the big stage of decal printing has all of the nesting automated so there's no need for you to mess it up for them.

Always bugs me when people send jobs in already nested. “I assumed you print on “x” sized sheet so I’ve done this trivial bit of work for you, that’s wrong”..

Makes my life a LOT easier to just get one file and do the stepping myself.

networking for many types of sign manufactures
I make custom light switch plates and need some stickers cut and shipped to me. I used to have a printer but sold it since I didnt use it much anymore. I use flexi 8.6 and would like the stickers to be printed on Oracal 3651 or similar with gloss clear lamination and contour cut. Simply printed, laminated, cut, and rolled up and shipped, no need to weed anything. These stickers are the size of light switch plates so approx 2.5"x4" and then just printed on sheets. Some all same design, some different. I need quality prints though. My last guys quality went way down and his customer support also. He had a bunch of banding and didnt care to fix it. I unfortunately at this time dont need much printed but any help would be appreciated.
check out signs365.com, and if you are not a sign company, I will help you :) 386-214-9887

If you're ordering decal sheets contour cut at S365 make sure you use all of the square footage on the sheet. You get charged by the entire square feet if you use it or not. And if you go over even 1/8in they charge you the extra square footage.
I sometimes order large sheets contour cut like a 4x8 with alot of decals on it but.... I've found ordering several smaller sheets is easier to work with.

I have several repeat decal orders where they order different amounts each time so I repeat the decal evenly spaced like an 1/8in apart to save material in CorelDraw in rows both vertical and horizontal like 100 decals x 100 decals with contour cutlines. Then I draw squares or rectangles over the 100x100 rows of decals in sizes like 24"x24" or 24"x36" etc to see which smaller size sheets gets the most decals on it and fills the sheet up.
When I find the smaller size that works I order just that one sheet, then just enter whatever amount of sheets I need to complete that order.
I try to make decal sheets with an even number of decals on it like 20, 25, 50 or 100 decals per sheet. So if they order just 20 this time then 100 next time I just order one sheet or the amount of sheets needed.

I like making signs
So I placed an order with 100 stickers layed out. It was not fun to say the least. I made the 3 registration dots like they say to in the video. Then when I went to upload it stated I needed at least 5 registration dots. So I had to go back and redo both files again. It would be easy for a big graphic with a couple contour cuts, but for what I need it is a pain. The good news is if it works out I have the files saved for reprint, so I'm only going to have to do it once per design. Thank you guys for the help
You can actually go back into your orders and just re-order...I just did it last week for window perf that the guy had his window busted out. So, if you get all your stuff set up then after the first time you can just go to orders, select which decal, change the amount and shipping address and send.
