Hey all,
I'm a graduate of the Chicago union-sponsored apprenticeship program and Washburne Technical Tradeschool sign making program (1980-1985).
Looking for any fellow students or now middle age wall dogs to see how folks are doing. With 34 years of sign making under my belt at age 52, I feel honored to have been one of the last generations to receive such a thorough and fundamentally sound training. Our industry has changed plenty, but some basic truths and findamentals still apply. Respect the craft, respect your colleagues, give your customers good value by creating well designed, durable, quality work and you will succeed over the long term.
Sincerely,
Tim Bauman
