Lose network when printer network card enabled! Help

Hi guys, we've just got our digital printer. Works great! Though we have a wireless card connection for the business network and a wired card going to the printer. The printer is hooked up using a xover cable. I've got all the firewalls set up to allow the new computer. I have internet and access to the other computers when the wired card is disabled. But as soon as I enable the wired card I lose the internet and network. If I disable the wired card I get access back. What's the deal? I've got the printer on a dedicated asigned IP and the wireless is automatic.

Any help would be appricated.

What are the IP settings for each card?
Sounds like you may have the same subnet for both networks.
