Low tack paint mask film?

I know all paint masks are "low tack" but I am needing the lowest tack possible. Does anyone have a recommendation for a very low tack paint mask that can be laid down on new vinyl that is still on the liner and then removed without pulling the vinyl off of the liner?

Also Aslan has just bought out a new paint mask S79 which states - A special adhesive ensures easy removability with minimal residue ....how easy I don't know.

Oramask 811 we use gerber for all of our standard mask but use the oramask 811 from oracal for anything low tack it is a great film and cheap!

Hands down..... Frisket is by far the best and keeps the cleanest edge and will never peel anything under it.... up with it. You can get flat or crinkly. Both work well. Personally, I prefer the flat.

As with any pattern, you must lift it off, before the paint thoroughly dries if you are a sloppy painter. If you stroke or air brush within the edges, you can leave it on for days and do all kinds of shadowing or building of objects.

Do they make frisket in a form that can be cut on a plotter? I am finding a bunch that is meant for hand-cut patterns, but not really anything in a 15" roll or even 24".

Last time I got it, it was from Glantz and it comes on 15" or 30" sprocket fed punched rolls. I don't think friction plotters will cut it, like a sprocket fed. Remember, some of these things are sometimes many many yards long and have repeat cuts back & forth, so you need excellent tracking.... not this friction feed crap....... haha In fact, I still have almost a full roll of 30" over on the shelf.

Awesome, luckily I have my trusty Gerber HS15 Plus! It may be dinosaur technology but it sure does cut nice straight long lines! Thanks for the help, I will check with Glantz!

I've used Oracal 631 vinyl and worked fine. It's a temporary, cheap vinyl. Easy to remove.
