I'm trying to learn Mach 3 and Aspire V-Carve right now. My CNC router came setup with the PC (no software included) and it crashed and burned. Long story short we have a new computer and software now.
The problem I'm having is when I load the g code file and select start the router goes up and maxes out on the z axis before anything else. I've checked the Z gaps setting in the tool paths tab and also unchecked allow z gap safety tab in the Mach 3 configure setting. I cannot find if my issue is in my file setup or my Mach 3 configuration?
I'm a noob with this setup and could use a little help if possible.
