We are looking for a service to reach our customers like mail chimp. I was wondering if ya'll are doing that and what do you use?

Do you have a marketing text app as well? if so, what do you use?

What's wrong with Mail chimp? I love the little hi-5 the chimp gives you when you send a campaign!

Either way, it's easy for it to get overlooked, I think even moreso with texts depending on how "popular" their number is for texting.

While I despise marketing emails/txts and will actively avoid using the people that bombard me with them, announcing a location change especially with someone that I already have a business relationship with, not so much of the issue.

so, would you use a service or just send out a mass email? About 2 years ago I sent out a mass email to many of my customers to announce a different part of our business and attach a catalog. I had about 2 or 3 people asking to be removed from the mass email. It was weird because I only sent 1. But I guess some people are triggered....

Changing locations, I wouldn't think of qualifying as the same thing as just sending out an email saying that we are offering a new service. However, I never had to do deal with that as even if I were to move, it's all email and drop shipping with me to my customers. Now, I must say, I don't mind a little bit of marketing with a vendor that I have an established relationship with, it's really only those that are out of the blue. I cannot tell you how much I dislike cold calls, even more so compared to unsolicited emails. Although, cold calls, I dislike regardless if I have a previous relationship as well. That's more interfering when I'm trying to get work done, emails I can deal with when I have down time and my workflow is already in a lull.

I have only used a newsletter service that was a plugin with my server, but that was opt in as well, so they were well aware that they would be getting notifications from time to time.
